Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the StackVault application ("the App"), developed by Digital Silver, based in Denver, Colorado. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Informational Purposes Only

All spot prices, melt values, mintage data, and other information provided by the App are for informational and reference purposes only. Nothing in the App constitutes financial advice, investment advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any precious metal, coin, or other asset.

You are solely responsible for your own financial and investment decisions.

2. Data Accuracy

While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, we make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data displayed in the App. Spot prices may be delayed, cached, or temporarily unavailable. Mintage figures and coin data are sourced from publicly available references and may contain errors.

You should independently verify any information before making decisions based on it.

3. No Warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Digital Silver and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising out of or related to your use of the App, regardless of the cause of action or theory of liability.

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for the App or any subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.

5. User Data and Local Storage

All data you enter into the App (stack holdings, album progress, preferences) is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for backing up your own data. We are not responsible for any data loss resulting from device failure, App deletion, or any other cause.

Certain features of the App may require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store or Google Play and are subject to their respective terms and refund policies.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App at our discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or our services.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
