Privacy Policy

StackVault ("the App") is developed by Digital Silver, based in Denver, Colorado. This privacy policy explains how the App handles your information.

1. No Account Required

StackVault does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to use the App. There is no registration process.

2. Data Storage

All user data — including your stack holdings, coin album progress, and preferences — is stored locally on your device using on-device storage. Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it (for example, via CSV export).

We do not operate a backend server or database that stores user data.

3. Network Requests

The App makes network requests solely to retrieve current precious metal spot prices. These requests are routed through a Cloudflare Worker proxy to the MetalpriceAPI service. These requests do not include any personal information, user identifiers, or device identifiers.

The Cloudflare Worker uses a short-duration cache to reduce redundant API calls. No user data is logged or stored by the proxy.

4. Personal Information

StackVault does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information. This includes but is not limited to:

• Names, email addresses, or phone numbers
• Location data
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Usage analytics or behavioral data
• Photos, contacts, or other device data

5. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• MetalpriceAPI (via Cloudflare Worker proxy) — to retrieve current spot prices for precious metals. No user data is sent to this service.
• RevenueCat — to manage in-app subscriptions. RevenueCat processes subscription transactions through Apple's App Store and Google Play. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated anonymous app user ID and purchase receipt data from Apple or Google. It does not receive your name, email, or other personal information from the App. You can review RevenueCat's privacy policy for details on their data handling.
• Apple App Store / Google Play — subscription purchases are processed by Apple or Google according to their respective privacy policies.

6. Analytics and Tracking

StackVault does not include any analytics SDKs, tracking pixels, or advertising frameworks. We do not track how you use the App.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share any user data with third parties. Since we do not collect user data, there is nothing to share.

8. Children's Privacy

StackVault does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The App does not collect personal information from any user regardless of age.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
